GAINESVILLE - Dress Up Boutique has announced it will expand its location on the downtown Gainesville Square with a larger flagship store, corporate offices, training center and distribution center for the company's 10 locations across Georgia.

Dress Up owners said they have purchased the space at 200 Washington Street, the building that once housed Seabones Restaurant and Princeton Salon.

The new store location will officially open for business on Friday, June 7, 2013, according to company officials. The corporate offices, training center, and distribution center are a part of phase two of construction, and will be opening later this year.

CEO of Dress Up Boutique, Derrick Case, is enthusiastic about the new launch.

"We are excited to invest further into the downtown Gainesville community. We
will be bringing on more corporate positions in the near future, as well as several new jobs immediately with our distribution center, he said.

"With this new purchase and expansion, we are now centralizing our entire organization from downtown Gainesville."

Dress Up Boutique started in 2009 in Dahlonega, GA. Since its inception, Dress Up has opened 8 additional storefronts in Gainesville, Suwanee, Woodstock, Alpharetta, Norcross, Brookhaven and Webb Gin, with two more planned for later this year in Perimeter and West Cobb.
