CUMMING - A motorcycle operator from Cumming was killed in a head-on collision with another vehicle early Tuesday morning on Brown's Bridge Road.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office investigators said Charles Griffin Hall, 23, of Hickory Court died at the scene just before 12:30 a.m.

Investigators said Hall was traveling westbound on Ga. Highway 369 on a 2007 Kawasaki EX650A motorcycle just past Two Mile Creek Bridge when he crossed into the eastbound lane and hit an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of that vehicle, Justin Timothy Harless, 28, of Old Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville told authorities he tried to avoid the collision, but was unable to do so.

Authorities said Harless was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, according to investigators.
