UNDATED - Gwinnett County police say they are on the lookout for a group of thieves that have been targeting Waffle House restaurants.

Investigators told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that four restaurants have been targeted since May - one in Duluth, one in Loganville and two in Oakwood. All four thefts are similar, according to authorities.

Police said one of the suspects will enter the restaurant and go directly to the men's restroom. While the other suspects, usually two or three of them, distract the Waffle House employees, the first suspect cuts a hole in the ceiling of the restroom and enters the manager's office.

So far, the thefts have cost Waffle House around $7,000, according to the newspaper report.

Police also told the AJC that surveillance video has shown the suspects arrived and leave the restaurants in an older model black Nissan Altima.
