Two charged in Braselton burglary

JEFFERSON - Two men, one from Winder and the other from Braselton, have been charged in Jackson County for a recent burglary at a Braselton residence.

Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum said 28-year-old Randall Lamar Peppers, Jr. of Winder and 23-year-old Jeffrey Kyle Walker of Braselton are accused of breaking into the house and stealing guns, ammunition and cash.

Walker is in jail, but at last report authorities were still searching for Peppers.

Sheriff Mangum said Peppers should be considered dangerous and no one should approach him, but should call authorities if he is spotted.
