Both teams played sloppy with 26 combined penalties, including one that negated a Franklin County touchdown.
The Indians were called for 12 penalties for 110 yards and the Lions for 14 penalties for a whopping 139 yards.
In between the penalties, both teams still managed to put up big offensive numbers. The Indians piled up 286 yards rushing behind Saparrio Reese, who had 158 yards, and Jai Brown who had 70 yards. The Lions racked 357 total yards for the game.
Franklin County (0-1) next will travel to Madison County while the Indians (1-0) travel to Habersham Central next week.
