More rabies reported in Hall Co.

LULA - Hall County animal control officials said Monday a 17th case of rabies has cropped up in the county, this time in the Lula area.<br /> <br /> A dog had contact with a rabid cat last week in the Tara Trail area, according to Hall County Animal Services. The cat tested positive for rabies after being shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab- Virology Section in Decatur.<br /> <br /> Positive alert signs will be posted in the area where the rabid cat was located.
