Indiana State Police Sgt. Todd Ringle says a trooper stopped the man's pickup truck Tuesday morning after spotting it traveling 98 mph on Interstate 64 near the town of Lynnville, about 20 miles northeast of Evansville.
Ringle says the trooper immediately noticed the man from Cornelia, Georgia, was confused. The trooper was able to obtain a telephone number for a family member and found out relatives had been searching for him all night.
Ringle says the man was taken to a nearby hospital for observation and that relatives from Georgia were coming to pick him up.
