Big first half propels Vikings past Johnson

GAINESVILLE --Johnson scored first but East Hall answered with 28 consecutive en route to a 42-23 win at East Hall Stadium Friday night in a non-region contest.<br /> <br /> The Vikings' Devin Watson threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores in the victory.<br /> <br /> East Hall (3-4) got 99 yards rushing from Jacques Ash and the defense forced three Johnson turnovers.<br /> <br /> The Knights (2-6) saw their two-game win streak come to an end. Jesse Griggs pounded out 81 yards rushing to pace Johnson.<br /> <br /> Chase Sims had one touchdown rushing and Orion Pittman returned an interception 44-yards for a touchdown for Johnson.<br /> <br /> Sims had one completion for a 65-yard touchdown pass to Javier Silva as the Knights scored 20 second half points.
