BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) The U.S. Supreme Court is refusing to hear the appeal of a death row inmate convicted in the bombing death of a federal judge from Alabama.
The justices are declining to consider the case of Walter Leroy Moody Jr.
The 79-year-old Moody also was convicted of sending a mail bomb that killed Robert Robinson, a city alderman in Savannah, Georgia.
Moody has been on death row since 1997.
