Commerce rolls past Lakeview to finish 8-2 in regular season

COMMERCE -- Commerce closed out its best regular season record in eight years with an impressive 55-28 win over Lakeview Academy on Friday in Commerce.<br /> <br /> The Tigers (8-2, 7-1 Region 8-A) pulled away from a 14-14 first quarter, rolling up 519 yards of offense. Commerce's defense also held the Lions (3-7, 3-5) to 154 total yards.<br /> <br /> Commerce will wait two weeks for the start of the Class A Public playoffs, but will almost certainly enter the postseason as one of the top seeds after hovering in the top six of the GHSA power ratings all season.<br /> <br /> Lakeview's season is complete.
