Isakson to announce re-election bid

ATLANTA - Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson already has a campaign website up and running, but he'll make the formal announcement of his re-election bid on Monday at the State Capitol.<br /> <br /> Isakson, from Marietta, will be Georgia's senior senator come January. He is currently serving his second term in the U.S. Senate.<br /> <br /> The formal announcement of Isakson's 2016 campaign bid is scheduled for 11 a.m., November 17 in the North Wing of the State Capitol in Atlanta. Gov. Nathan Deal, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle and House Speaker David Ralston are among the elected officials expected to join Isakson for the announcement.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
