Police identify woman fatally shot at bus stop

LITHONIA, Ga. (AP) Authorities have identified the woman shot and killed at a MARTA bus stop outside Atlanta as 19-year-old Marcaysia Dawkins, a recent graduate of Lithonia High School. <br /> <br /> Police say officers were called to the bus stop on Fairington Road in the Lithonia area around 10 a.m. Sunday. They found Dawkins lying on the bench with a gunshot wound at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority stop. <br /> <br /> WSB-TV reports that surveillance video shows a man crossing the street and standing next to the woman. In the video, the two appear to speak for a few minutes before a struggle ensues, and the woman is shot. The man appears to take something and run away. <br /> <br /> Relatives said Dawkins was trying to catch a bus to run an errand when she was killed. <br />
