Grady no longer accepting major insurer coverage

ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta's Grady Memorial Hospital says it no longer accepts coverage from a major insurer. <br /> <br /> The hospital and Blue Cross Blue Shield have not been able to reach an agreement. <br /> <br /> Grady says the insurer is paying it far less than it pays other hospitals. Grady says payments that are too low threaten the hospital's ability to maintain an adequate level of care. <br /> <br /> Blue Cross Blue Shield says it has submitted multiple proposals offering an increase in the rates it pays the hospital. <br /> <br /> Grady stressed that it will not turn people away.
