Cookout to benefit injured Hall Co. firefighters

GAINESVILLE - A local ambulance company is holding a special event to benefit the three Hall County firefighters injured in a training accident in July.<br /> <br /> North Georgia Medical Transport (NGMT) will holding a Labor Day weekend cookout on Saturday, August 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse on Shallowford Road.<br /> <br /> All plates are just $5. Stop by or pre-order a hamburger and hot dog plate by calling 678-943-0673.<br /> <br /> All proceeds will go to a fund benefiting TJ Elliott, Stephen Jackson and Will Griffin, the three firefighters known as the Tower Trio, who sustained serious injuries when a ladder truck collapsed on July 22. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
