Jury finds woman guilty in silicone injection case

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) A jury has convicted a woman accused of killing a Georgia woman through illicit silicone buttocks injections. <br /> <br /> Several local media outlets reports jurors found Tracy Lynn Garner guilty of depraved heart murder and conspiracy to commit wire fraud after deliberating about two hours Friday. The murder conviction carries a maximum penalty of life in prison <br /> <br /> Garner was charged in the death of Karima Gordon who, prosecutors say, was lured to Jackson by Garner to perform the injections. The defense rested Friday without calling a witness. The prosecution had wrapped up its case. <br /> <br /> Prosecutors say Gordon and a friend were referred to Garner by Natasha Stewart, an adult entertainer, who was convicted of manslaughter in Garner's death and is serving a seven-year prison sentence.
