Car plunges into Atlanta city water facility

ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta police are searching for suspects accused of crashing a car that plunged into a city water treatment facility. <br /> <br /> WSB-TV reported that a black Infiniti was nose down early Friday morning in one of the tanks at the Atlanta city water reservoir on Howell Mill Road on the city's northwest side. <br /> <br /> Police say the driver was fleeing a traffic stop a few blocks away when the car crashed through a fence and into the facility early Friday morning. <br /> <br /> Police believe two people in the car ran off, and a third swam away. They say one of the passengers was apprehended around 5 a.m. <br /> <br /> A city employee said environmental agencies have been notified, but plant operations will continue as normal. <br />
