GAINESVILLE - Brenau University will be hosting a special exhibit of Civil Rights-era photography beginning Thursday.<br />
<br />
The pictures that will be included come from the High Museum of Art's Permanent Collection in Atlanta, according to the Brenau Galleries Facebook page. <br />
<br />
The exhibit follows the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. and highlights the "sense of community" surrounding the Civil Rights struggle.<br />
<br />
An opening reception will be held Thursday night at 6:00 at the Sellars Gallery at Brenau, featuring a lecture by Philip Verre, Chief Operating Officer at the High Museum of Art. <br />
<br />
The exhibition will be open to the public and on display through March 19.<br />
