UGA police say 19-year-old Michael McClary of Decatur was in the back seat while returning home after a night out with friends early Saturday morning.

The Athens Banner-Herald reports that the friends tried to rouse McClary after pulling into an East Campus parking deck and called police around 2 a.m. Saturday. McClary was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson said there were no signs of injury foul play, accidental or otherwise.
An autopsy was performed Monday at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab. Williamson said police hope the results will help them identify a cause for McClary's death.
