Group stages protest outside Gov. Deal swearing-in ceremony

ATLANTA (AP) A group of protesters staged a demonstration in the state Capitol outside Gov. Nathan Deal's swearing-in ceremony. <br /> <br /> Local media reported that the group gathered Monday afternoon to protest police brutality, to call for the expansion of the state's Medicaid system and more resources for homeless children. <br /> <br /> Georgia Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Franka Young says no arrests were made. <br /> <br /> Young says the protest didn't cause any disruption to the swearing-in ceremony and the demonstrators left without incident after being told to disperse.
