Gwinnett teens accused in 300 car break-ins, attempts

DACULA, Ga. (AP) Police in metro Atlanta say three teenagers are responsible for about 300 vehicle break-ins and attempts reported in a Gwinnett County subdivision between late December and early January. <br /> <br /> A press statement from the Gwinnett Police Department said the suspects are 16 and 15 years old. Police did not release their names because they are juveniles. Gwinnett County police said Friday they are charged with 22 counts of entering autos, two counts of burglary, five counts of criminal trespassing and four counts of criminal damage to property. <br /> <br /> Police say the break-ins happened in the Apalachee Heritage subdivision of Dacula between Dec. 21 and Jan. 2. They said some of vehicles also had slashed tires on the vehicles. <br />
