JEFFERSON -- Another area football program is looking for a new head coach.
According to published reports, Benji Harrison resigned his position with Jackson County this week.

That makes four area programs now looking for head coaches, including Apalachee, Habersham Central and Dawson County.
Harrison took the Panthers to new heights during his three-year tenure, including back-to-back state playoff appearances in 2012-13 and the school's first winning record since 1992 -- when the team went 8-2-1 under Don Golden and made the region playoffs. Jackson County's 2012 and '13 state playoff appearances were the first for the Panthers.
