OAKWOOD - The City of Oakwood unveiled a $3.9 million budget Monday night, which, if fully funded, could mean an increase in taxes for some property owners.
City Manager Stan Brown said Tuesday the proposed spending plan includes cost-of-living pay increases for city employees, along with performance-based increases.
Brown says the proposed tax rate is four mills, the same as last year but some people may end of paying more in taxes because of property reassessments.
A public hearing on the budget and tax rate is scheduled next Monday at 6:00 at Oakwood City Hall.
