GAINESVILLE — A jury has found Margarita Leanos, the woman charged as an accomplice in the murder of Gainesville taxi cab driver Isaias Tovar-Murillo, guilty on all counts.

Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh said Leanos was found guilty on all counts and sentencing was underway in an email just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Opening arguments and testimony in the case were conducted in just one day in Hall County Superior Court. Closing arguments were heard Tuesday morning.

A total of five people had been charged in the shooting death of Tovar-Murillo. The shooter Misty Moran was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in a separate trial last week. Three men charged in the murder pleaded guilty to their part in the crime and are now in prison.
