LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) A Gwinnett County man has been accused of killing his wife and then dumping her body behind the Lawrenceville business where he worked.
Local media outlets are reporting that the manager of Express Oil Change on Pike Street called police Thursday after noticing a smell behind the store. Officers discovered human remains in a nearby wooded area. Authorities later identified the victim as Yamilet Rodriquez, who was last seen alive Oct. 6.
Police arrested Rodriguez's husband, Fernando Guzman-Perez Thursday evening. Guzman-Perez, who reported his wife missing on Monday, has been charged with murder.
Guzman-Perez apparently worked at the oil-change business.
Authorities have not said how they believe the victim died.
CBS46 is reporting that the couple's children are in state custody.
