CLEVELAND - The directors of the White County Historical Society report the historic courthouse museum on the square in Cleveland will be closed for the next couple of weeks for some renovations.
The historic courthouse is getting some new energy-efficient windows, and other work also is being performed.
Due to construction and for the safety of visitors, the courthouse museum is temporarily closed.
Next week's White County Historical Society meeting, set for Nov. 5, has been cancelled and that program on early settlers of White County will be rescheduled next year.
