CUMMING — A woman wanted for impersonating a nurse in Forsyth County has been arrested in North Carolina, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Taiwo Bolatito Sobamowo, 32, was picked up by the Wake County Sheriff's Office on Monday.

She apparently provided fake credentials to Gracemont Assisted Living and Memory Care on Jot 'em Down Road in Cumming in order to gain employment. Investigators did not find any evidence of harm to any of the residents of the nursing home who received care from Sobamowo, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dep. Epifanio Rodriguez.

He said investigators had been tracking the suspect's activities since September.

Investigators said the suspect is not licensed as a nurse anywhere in the United States.

Sobamowo is awaiting extradition to Forsyth County to face charges of impersonating a nurse, a misdemeanor, as well as financial identity fraud and forgery, both felonies.
