Tractor-trailer incident blocks Highway 115 West in White County

CLEVELAND - There were no injuries in a single-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer truck west of Cleveland Tuesday morning. 

The accident was reported around 8:45 a.m.  at the intersection of Highway 115 West and Highway 284  near Shoal Creek Baptist  Church. 

The driver of the big rig ran off the right side ofHhighway 115 onto the soft ground and became stuck. 

It took three attempts and two wreckers over a span of three hours to finally get the rig out of the ditch.  Highway 115 was blocked most of the three hours while towing crews attempted to get the tractor-trailer out.

The White County Sheriff's Office investigated the incident.
