Oakwood City Council OKs budget, sewer service for new restaurant

OAKWOOD - The Oakwood City Council has approved the new city budget and sewer service for the site for a re-located Wendy's restaurant.

City Manager Stan Brown confirms approval of the nearly four million dollar budget.  City officials took the wraps off the document aobut a month ago. Brown also says the new Wendy's is planned at 3825 Mundy Mill Road, adding "we do understand" the current Oakwood Wendy's, on the other side of I-985 on Wallis Road, will be closed.
