Gen. Lee predicts early spring for Ga.

LILBURN - Georgia's resident groundhog, Gen. Beauregard Lee, predicted an early spring for Georgia.<br />
<br />
Gen. Lee lives at Yellow River Game Ranch in Lilburn, where prognostications for spring have taken place for 34 years.<br />
<br />
A statement on the game ranch's website said:<br />

"General Beauregard Lee awoke to 44 degrees and a heavy overcast after an overnight rain. He did not see his shadow, foretelling an early spring for the Sunny South."<br />
