GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities said Thursday morning they have made a fifth arrest in connection with Monday's murder of a Gainesville taxi cab driver.

Hall Co. Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes said 21-year-old Ignacio Mondragon of Gainesville was taken into custody late Tuesday afternoon and charged with felony murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

"Mondragon is also believed to have been in the 'follow vehicle' that picked our shooter up after the shooting occurred," said Bailes.

Three other suspects, all from Gainesville were in that vehicle, while 39-year-old Misty Moran, also from Gainesville, apparently was in the cab with the victim. Moran is believed to have pulled the trigger in the crime. (See story linked below.)

Bailes said the victim, Isaias Tovar-Murrillo, had worked for Taxi El Palmar for 15 years. She said he lived in the area with his brother; other family members are in Mexico.
