GAINESVILLE - Dozens of students, faculty and community members gathered at the Hosch Theatre at Brenau University Friday for the second annual Women's Leadership Colloquium, a program coordinated by the Center for Women's Leadership and Service at the university.

The keynote speaker for the March 20 event was Marissa Kraxberger, the creative vice president for Ivanka Trump's growing fashion enterprise and author of "Lady & Prince." Participants also heard from university administrators, Women's College alumnae and other female business leaders as part of the Friday afternoon event.

Friday's colloquium was dedicated to the memory of Gainesville attorney Wyc Orr, described by organizers as an advocate for equality and supporter of Brenau's Women's College. Orr's daughter, Kris Orr-Brown, was among the featured speakers.
