ATHENS, Ga. (AP) An Athens store owner is offering a cash reward for help finding a 10-foot-tall, 300-pound rooster sculpture that was stolen from outside her business.

Lexington Vintage owner Bonnie Harris called police early this week to report Rocket the Rusty Rooster had been stolen. The Athens Banner-Herald reports Harris is now offering $1,000 for information that gets her rooster back and ensures those who swiped it get prosecuted.

The sculpture got stolen about two weeks after it was installed in front of Harris' store with rebar stakes anchoring it to the ground. Police estimate the giant rooster is worth about $3,000.

Harris says she figures the thieves are telling themselves: "Ha, ha, they're never going to find this rooster.''
