White County personnel respond to pair of wrecks

CLEVELAND - No serious injuries were reported in two separate accidents  that occurred about the same time Tuesday afternoon in White County.

The first accident was reported around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Georgia Highway 115 and Town Creek Road west of Cleveland. 

That wreck involved a passenger vehicle and a flatbed tractor-trailer. Authorities said one person received minor injuries.

The second accident was reported at 1 p.m. at the north entrance to Pioneer RESA on Georgia Highway 254.  A pickup truck and passenger car collided head-on,  knocking both off the roadway.

Two people were taken by ambulance for treatment of injuries.

Additional details were not immediately available.
