WINDER - Winder residents can expect to see a host of emergency vehicles in the South Broad Street/Loganville Highway area this week, but there's no need to worry - it's only a drill.

Lt. Scott Dakin with the Barrow County Emergency Management Agency said in a media statement that  local, state and national agencies will all take part in the drill on Wednesday.

He said residents need to be aware they will see plenty of law enforcement vehicles, fire engines and ambulances in the area, but it's all part of the drill.

Dakin would not disclose the nature of the drill because he said county officials want gauge the response of the participating agencies.
