N. Ga. prepares for National Day of Prayer

UNDATED - The annual National Day of Prayer is set for Thursday, May 7 and observances have been planned in several locations in north Georgia.
 
In Gainesville, a group called Hall County Prayer plans its traditional Prayer Day observance on the downtown Gainesville Square from noon to 1 p.m. 
 
Also in Gainesville, St. John Baptist Church at 757 E.E. Butler Parkway will have all day prayer beginning at 7 a.m. The church's main sanctuary will be open all day for those seeking a quiet time of prayer United groups will pray at 7 a.m., 12 noon and 7 p.m. for the nation and community. 
 
The White County Ministerial Alliance will hold a service  at Freedom Park in Downtown Cleveland from 12:15 to 12:35 p.m.
 
In Dahlonega, a group has organized a prayer event for 5:30 p.m. outside the Lumpkin County Justice Center.
