LAWRENCEVILLE - No injuries were reported Tuesday night following a small house fire in Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett County Fire Captain Tommy Rutledge said via a media release that crews were called to the two-story home on Chadwick Park Drive near Webb Gin House Road just before 7:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a "small smoldering fire" within the exterior wall along the home's right side.

Rutledge said the preliminary response team was able to quickly extinguish the fire, containing it to the area of origin.

A fire investigator was later notified of the incident, and is working to determine the exact cause. Rutledge noted that at this point in the investigation, the fire is believed to be accidental in nature.

Due to the limited nature of the damage, the home's occupants were not displaced by the fire and were allowed to remain on site.
