ATLANTA (AP) Gov. Nathan Deal has released a list of bills that he vetoed from the 2015 General Assembly session.
The list of vetoed bills that Deal released Tuesday included one that would have allowed motorcycle and bicycle riders to enter intersections without regard to traffic signals. That bill would have allowed riders to ignore traffic signals if their motorcycle or bike wouldn't activate a traffic control device.
Deal also killed bills that would have created a Georgia Sports Commission Fund, and one that would have created a statewide business trade registry maintained by the Georgia Superior Court Clerk's Cooperative Authority.
The list of vetoed bills also included proposed legislation that would have transferred the Division of Aging Services from the Department of Human Services to create the Georgia Adult and Aging Services Agency.
