COMMERCE - The Georgia State Patrol has concluded an investigation into a fatal collision between a car and a bicycle in Commerce earlier this month, and the agency said no charges will be filed against the driver of the vehicle.
The investigating trooper said the victim, 57-year-old Michael C. Manley of Commerce, was at fault in the wreck. He was riding his bicycle along Highway 441 South near Allen Road when he was hit by a Honda Accord, driven by 18-year-old Kristina J. Ashe. Two other teens were in the car with her.
The fatal crash happened Wednesday, May 13 around 7:30 p.m.
