GILLSVILLE - A house on Miller Lake Road in east Hall County was destroyed by an early morning fire Monday.
Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said a passer-by saw flames just before 3 a.m. and called authorities. The 1,000 square foot house was a total loss, according to Cagle.
He said the house was in use, but the occupants were not home. An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
