FLOWERY BRANCH — Earlier this week, the Flowery Branch Police Department issued a bulletin on the department Facebook page, telling area residents to be on the lookout for someone who has been breaking in to vehicles in the south Hall and north Gwinnett County areas. Now, they think they have a description of a suspect.

Authorities say they are looking for a white man, 6' tall, wearing sideburns. They believe he is driving a gold or champagne-colored extended cab Ford Ranger pick-up truck with a tool box. The truck has been seen in the Oakwood-Flowery Branch area, according to authorities.

Police said in their Facebook post that the suspect has been targeting vehicles that are unlocked and stealing items left inside the cars. In addition, unsecured items from the backs of truck beds have been stolen.

Anyone with information on the identity of the driver or the whereabouts of the truck is asked to call the Flowery Branch Police Department at 770-967-6336.
