LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) A Gwinnett County man convicted of fatally stabbing a 64-year-old woman during a break-in at her home has been sentenced to life in prison.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Eric Lamont Bolling was sentenced to life without parole Thursday.
Police say Bolling was arrested in November 2012 in the killing of Parviz Moledina, who was found dead in her home the day before Thanksgiving. Bolling was charged with felony murder and theft by receiving. Authorities say Bolling lived down the street from Moledina.
Authorities say evidence found in Moledina's vehicle that Bolling had stolen led them to arrest him.
The first trial in the case ended in a hung jury last year.
