STONE MOUNTAIN — The Confederate battle flag has been under fire lately, and now Confederate flag supporters have planned a rally at Stone Mountain Park for Saturday, August 1.
Organizers are coordinating the event via Facebook, and it appears people from across the southeast will be attending the event.
Those same organizers are urging participants to be peaceful. They've posted a list of rules for the rally. Among them - no taunting other vehicles, no burning of any flags and no racial slurs or offensive remarks.
The rally starts at 10 a.m.
