BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) Police along Georgia's coast are investigating after skeletal remains were discovered.
The Brunswick News reports that a resident on a walk found the bones in a recently mowed field beneath some power lines on Friday afternoon. The area is near Interstate 95 and U.S. 341 in Glynn County.
Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said the remains are human.
Glynn County Assistant Coroner Chris Stewart told The Florida Times-Union that the remains will be sent to the state crime lab for analysis and possible identification.
