ATHENS, Ga. (AP) Police in Athens-Clarke County say a 12-year-old girl has been hospitalized with serious injuries after she was struck by a car.
The Athens Banner-Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1hP3LWK ) the girl from Lexington got hit while standing in a grassy median after her mother was involved in an unrelated, minor collision.
