Wreck injures one person in Cleveland

CLEVELAND - One person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Cleveland just before 3 p.m. Monday. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of West Kytle Street (Georgia Highway 115 West) and Campbell Street when the male driver of a small pickup truck ran off the road into a ditch.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle for a short period of time and, after being removed from the vehicle, was taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Reports at the scene indicate the driver may had a medical issue prior to the accident.

No further details are immediately available.

A male driver was injured when his truck ran off the road into a ditch at the corner of Campbell Street and West Kytle Street in Cleveland about 3 p.m. Monday.
The driver of a pickup truck was briefly trapped after it crashed into a ditch on the west end of Cleveland Monday afternoon.
