CLERMONT - Qualifying begins Jan. 11 for two special city council elections which will be held March 1 in Clermont.
Voters will be trying to fill the At-Large vacancy as well as the Ward 2 seat.
Joe McGoogan was elected to the At-Large post November 3 but died two days later. Ward 2 incumbent John Brady chose not to run for re-election last year but no one qualified to seek that post in the November election.
Qualifying will continue through 4:30 on Jan. 13.
