The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has joined the probe into the death of a Mt. Airy infant.
"On Sunday, Oct. 2, at approximately 12:15 p.m., the GBI was requested by the Mt. Airy Police Department to investigate the death of a 4-month-old child," said GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles by email. "The investigation is ongoing at this time. No further details are available at this point in the investigation."
