MT. AIRY — Habersham Central battled throughout but could not find a way on to the scoreboard in a 9-0 loss to Dacula on Friday in Mt. Airy.
The Raiders gave up a blocked punt for a touchdown in the first quarter. The visiting Falcons added a 24-yard field goal in the third quarter for the final score.
Michael Babers rushed 20 times for 78 yards for the Raiders (4-4, 0-3 Region 8-AAAAAA), while Cole Wilbanks completed 14 of 27 passes for 144 yards and an interception.
Habersham travels to face Winder-Barrow in a crucial region battle next week, as the Raiders look to get in the playoff hunt.
