MegaPrint, a Gainesville-based sign, custom graphics and digital printing company, announces a new ownership after 30 years in business.

Thomas and Kayla Maxey, who previously had years of sign and printing experience as the owners of EZ Signs Solutions, are the new owners.

“At EZ Signs, we found that our customers also had graphic and print collateral needs, and they often asked if we could help,” Thomas Maxey said. “MegaPrint proved to be the perfect fit to expand our offerings and provide more comprehensive services to our customers.”

The Maxeys recently purchased a high volume press that will allow MegaPrint to produce up to 135 high quality black and white copies per minute.

“It’s so fast I can hardly keep up with it,” said MegaPrint’s press operator John Norris. “I will load a job to print and the next thing you know it’s done.”

“We’re excited to add this new capability to our list of services,” Kayla Maxey said. “We believe it will be a great benefit to organizations and educators who need to produce a large number of copies in a timely, cost-effective fashion.”
