Organizers with the March for Babies in Hall County are gearing up for their annual walk on April 23, 2016 at Longstreet Clinic in Gainesville.

At a recent kickoff luncheon at the Gainesville Civic Center, volunteers met Ambassador Babies Zane and Jarrett Buffington, born at just 23 weeks. The boys spent more than 100 days in the hospital after they were born.

Lori Allen, North Division Director for the March of Dimes, said the goal for this year's Hall County march is $120,000. Last year, Gainesville/Hall County walkers raised about $110,000.

Teams can sign up now at the March for Babies website.
